Join us for our biggest (virtual) fundraiser of the year on Sunday, May 16 to celebrate Ryesilience Through Community!

Rye resident and NFL analyst Ian Rapoport will share his story of adversity and resilience throughout his career.

We will honor the Ryesilience of community members Molly Howson, Erika Lee and Jared Small.

The work each of our honorees did in the face of adversity exemplifies the importance of connection through community. Their efforts, and the many ways in which the Rye Youth Council connects to young people in Rye, strengthen our Ryesilience.

Resilience is the ability to thrive, adapt and cope despite tough and stressful times. This past year has challenged all of us, and re-emphasized the importance of building resilience in our youth. For more than 50 years the Rye Youth Council has been connecting young people in Rye to their community: the Rye PBA/police, senior citizens, teachers, parents and local employers. These connections build resilience and empower children to get through difficult circumstances and to deal with negative situations in a healthy way.

Your attendance and support helps us engage, educate and empower youth, provide parent education and support, and offer meaningful programs that strengthen the social, emotional, and mental health of our youth.
