This course is being offered on June 11. This course gives adults the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to adolescents (ages 12-18) who may be developing -- or have -- a mental health or substance use problem, and help connect them to the appropriate care. Cost should not be a barrier to attend. Scholarship ticket is offered. This course is for adults. Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This training requires 2 hours of online pre-work and a 5.5 hour instructor-led zoom course.

There is a $25 fee to cover take-home course materials. This fee should not be a barrier to participation: contact us if you need assistance.
