November 1st Youth Mental Health First Aid Course
The value of this course is $170. RYC and RyeACT are offering it for $100. Please note: cost should not be a barrier. This course includes 2 hours of online pre-work and an instructor-led six-hour in-person workshop (including time for lunch and breaks).
Class size is limited to 20.
AFTER THIS COURSE, YOU'LL BE ABLE TO:
- Recognize common signs and symptoms of youth mental health challenges.
- Recognize common signs and symptoms of youth substance use challenges.
- Understand how to interact with a youth in crisis.
- Know how to connect a young person with help.
- Use self-care tools and techniques.
