There are two separate runs this year: morning for grades K-5 and afternoon for grades 6-8!

We have two separate runs this year: The morning run is for students in grades K-5. The afternoon run is for students in grades 6-8. This later run will start at 1:45 p.m.

We can't wait to see you on November 11th for the 7th annual Rainbow Run in Rye Town Park!

Registered participants will receive a goodie bag of run day essentials: Rainbow Run t-shirt (if registered by Oct 14), a rainbow mask, and sunglasses.
Participants are encouraged to wear clothes that can get dirty! The powder washes out but could leave residual color. dress in colorful outfits for the 1-mile walk/run on Tuesday, November 11th. Register by October 14 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.T-shirts and sizes are guaranteed for those who registered by October 14th.

The color powder we use is safe! The powder is made with high-quality cornstarch, food dyes, and baking soda. All materials are 100% FD&C and/or D&C approved. Out of an abundance of caution, our packets include a rainbow mask and sunglasses.

A Few Changes and Additions!

๐ŸŒˆ Students will not be throwing powder before the run this year.

As each student finishes the course, they will be handed two packets of color powder to throw in the New Powder Zone. The Powder Zone is a new area adjacent to the finish line, where kids can go wild with their packets of powder. The Rye PD will add to the fun in the Powder Zone with powder sprayers and powder balls.

๐ŸŒˆExtra powder packets will be available for purchase after the run begins, for use in the Powder Zone only.

๐ŸŒˆThere will be more powder throwers and stations along the course. More powder = more fun!

New, Expanded Pre-run Fun!

Beginning at 9 a.m. for K-5 runners, and 1 p.m. for middle schoolers (6-8)

๐ŸŒˆ Students will be psyched about our new, professional DJ whoโ€™s an entertainment whiz!

๐ŸŒˆ Weโ€™re creating a fair-like experience featuring crafts and games for all ages, color-run merchandise (think tattoos, tutus, wristbands, and hair extensions!), snacks, and beverages. Tickets will be sold on site for some of these add-ons, and others will be free

๐ŸŒˆ Pizza will be available for sale at the end of the AFTERNOON run, which is JUST for students in grades 6 - 8.
